Prairie Dog

Prairie Dogs are considered a keystone species because of the large direct and indirect impact they have on the ecosystem in which they reside. For example, prairie dog tunnels provide homes for many amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Sadly, prairie dog numbers have been reduced by as much as 95% due to disease and human "pest management." Our Prairie Dog products support the efforts of the Western Watersheds Project, a leading advocacy, policy, and education organization focusing on, among other issues, protecting prairie dog populations and habitat in the American West.
